Inside Us
Globodynamics in the inner world
We are interwoven with our outside world. Our inner transformation is just as profound as the outer. Within this lie unimagined possibilities, but the evolution of human consciousness – this fundamental transformation – is not something that just happens to us. It does not occur on its own, but requires attention and readiness (our involvement) – at least until a critical mass is reached.
The door to the future opens inward. The capacity to observe our own mental and emotional processes is uniquely human. We could use it to know ourselves better and experience our deeper, connected nature.
“As Above, So Below. As Within, So Without.”
The low-threshold explanation is: Somehow it evolved through evolution. To this day, no Nobel laureate can explain how. Absolutely nothing in the brain points to consciousness. – The deeper approach is: Consciousness is fundamental. It is the deepest level of reality in the universe. In any case, consciousness as a mental process is integrative. It connects us with everyone else.
It is important to look in the right direction: Inward. All self-development and self-optimization will only bear fruit when we recognize how connected we are and that we have achieved very little in life if we haven’t improved the fundamental situation for everyone. “Is it so that everyone is better off, or is it just for me?” When we have this deeper self-understanding, we naturally become more present, compassionate, and effective in our relationships and actions.
